At the forefront of providing solutions in response to issues facing at-risk children and families, SunnyKids aims to break the intergenerational cycles of poverty and disadvantage, providing the hope and resilience to move forward, both as individuals and as a society.
Originally established as a family and domestic violence service on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, SunnyKids and affiliated organisations provided 30,000 nights of emergency accommodation across Queensland and Victoria in 2010.
Since its inception, SunnyKids has expanded to include educational support, and youth suicide and prevention support for children and young people to its growing list of services.
